Open the game, go to Settings, and tap “Add Language.” Choose from the available language packs and download for free. Languages are stored on your device and work offline once downloaded.
Tap the Settings button from the main screen to adjust fall speed, spawn interval, difficulty (Easy/Hard), match mode (Touch/Full Overlay), and slide mode (Stop/Push).
LinguoTower runs on iPhone (iOS 14 and later) and Android phones (Android 6.0 and later). Tablet support is planned for a future update.
High scores are saved per player name on your device. To start a new player profile, simply enter a different name on the start screen.
Game progress and downloaded language packs are stored locally on your device. After reinstalling, downloaded language packs will need to be re-downloaded from Settings.

Words fall in two languages alternately. When a word lands next to (or on top of, depending on your match mode setting) its translation in the other language, both words disappear and you score points. The goal is to prevent the tower from filling up.
If you successfully match all 800+ word pairs in a single session without the tower overflowing, you earn the Master of Tower title — the highest achievement in the game.
Yes. In Settings you can set both Language 1 and Language 2 to any downloaded language, including non-English combinations like Spanish ↔ French or German ↔ Russian.
A note on how these pairs work: every language pack is a translation of the same shared English word list. So a Spanish ↔ German game isn't matching a direct Spanish-to-German translation — it pairs the Spanish word for an English term with the German word for that same English term, using English as the common anchor. The meanings line up in the vast majority of cases, though a word can occasionally differ depending on context. This English-anchored design is exactly what lets us add new languages quickly and keep every pack consistent.
In Settings, switch between Easy and Hard difficulty. You can also adjust fall speed and spawn interval to fine-tune the challenge to your level.
